Ragan Communications is on the lookout for a talented Print Production Manager to join our vibrant team. In this role, you'll take charge of overseeing the production of diverse printed and digital materials, encompassing on-site materials, flyers, white papers, website pages, and digital web banners. Your key duty will be to oversee the entire production process from inception to delivery, guaranteeing seamless execution, punctual delivery, and adherence to budgetary constraints. This is a remote position, involving occasional travel. Candidates must be based in the Chicago area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of print materials, including proofing, pre-press, printing, finishing, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project stakeholders are aligned on project scope, timeline, and goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for print production-related inquiries and issues, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize project management software (Asana) to oversee and manage project development of all projects print and non-print related across all departments. Proficiency in Asana is essential.
  • Populate and manage all house ads on company websites.
  • Assist in the production of digital ads and other creative print and digital assets as needed for the creative department.
  • Contribute to the coordination and execution of all webinars and virtual events while effectively managing daily tasks.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years proven experience in print production management, with a strong understanding of print processes and technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Proficiency in print production software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in print production.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
  • Basic html and CMS (WordPress) knowledge.
  • Ability to travel domestically 3-5 times per year if needed.
